Food is great. Service is Service, not overly friendly, just taking your order and on to the next. Ambiance is a little sketchy, it's dark.

The food is really good. It is cooked fresh. We really enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake cheesecake. Keep in mind that if you live far the food will not be as fresh when you get home- as there is nowhere to eat inside. The staff were friendly and had great customer service.

Had their fish and chips last night with a friend. They have 4 different kinds of fish to choose from: catfish, tilapia, flounder and whiting. We had the whiting. Sometimes I have one of their many different boils. The food is excellent. It does help to call ahead. Service is always great!

This place has two locations, I went to the spot on SW 20th Ave. People behind the counter were very friendly and helped me quickly navigate their large menu, and talked me thru choices and options. I got the Flounder and Shrimp Dinner. Nothing fancy, just really good fresh seafood. They dusted everything with a spice mixture that was really tasty. Shrimp was lightly breaded and had a good flavor. Flounder was breaded nicely, had excellent flavor. Breading was crisp and crunchy with the fish being moist and juicy inside. These folks know how to fry up some good seafood for sure. I was also really impressed with their sauce First the cocktail was nice and spicy with a perfect amount of horseradish, I prefer my cocktail spicy and you can see the good amount of horseradish. I'm not a major fan of Tartar sauce, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed their Tarter sauce. I will definitely be back to this place.

It was delicious. A little shaky at first but customer service was excellent. Don't judge a book by its cover. The seafood was seemingly very fresh and it's the first one I've been to where you actually have to steam in or heat your own seafood. I thought it was an excellent idea and it made ordering and getting your food extremely fast. Less than five minutes.

This is my favorite spot in Gainesville to get seafood. The food is always delicious and the prices are very fair for what you get. I normally get the blue cray/shrimp tray or the snow crab/shrimp tray. You can choose either mild or spicy butter sauce to go on top. The fried food is prepared to order, but the seafood is already pre-steamed and refrigerated. Normally it takes about 5-10 minutes until the fried food is ready and the seafood is ready within a minute. There are no seating areas so you take your food to go. The gentleman at the front is always so welcoming and polite when you make your order. The only con I have about this place is the location, as it can be a bit sketchy. I've been asked for money a few times I've been here while waiting in line. There is also limited parking in front of the building so on a busy day there may not be a spot opened. Based on my experience, late afternoon gets pretty busy and the line gets long. I recommend going in the early afternoon to avoid a long wait time! Overall, this place gets a 5/5 from me for delicious seafood, great prices and fantastic service.
